General Programme Information
The Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management aims to provide an understanding of the managerial, decision making and leadership aspects of the international tourism industry.
In addition it is also designed to develop the independent research skills which will be required when working as a senior manager in the industry.

Pre-Requisites
This qualification is open to students who have successfully completed the Diploma in Tourism Management.
Other qualifications will also be considered, as will relevant industry experience. Applications will be considered on an individual basis.
Upon Completion
- Students who have completed the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management will have the option of progressing to a full BA (Hons) degree, which takes one more year. This can be taken at a number of Universities that have an agreement in place with the CTH.

Assessment
Five of the six modules are assessed by an assignment and a three hour examination. The sixth module is assessed through a 5000 word Management Research Report. All assessments are marked by CTH.
