The Theory Test
The Driver Theory Test is designed to examine the driving knowledge of novice drivers.
It is designed to help you to be safe, well-informed and a courteous driver. It is essential to your preparation as a driver whether you are a young learner being tested on road signs, good judgment and perception and allowing for vulnerable road users or aspiring professional driver.
Course Overview
The course provides learner drivers with the knowledge of the principles of safe driving: as your confidence grows it will provide the road map for safe driving as well as the practical ability to drive competently and responsibly.
The course will cover the official theory test – fifth – edition and is delivered by professional R.S.A. approved tutors/instructors.
Suitable for licence categories:
- A = Motor cycles
- A1 = Motor cycles with an engine capacity not exceeding 125 cubic centimetres and with a power rating not exceeding 11 kilowatts
- B = Cars (and other vehicles) having a design gross weight not exceeding 3,500 kgs and having passenger accommodation for 8 people or less.
- M = Mopeds
- W = Work vehicles and land tractors
- AM = Motor cycles/Mopeds
- BW = Cars/Work vehicles
