General Programme Information
The Diploma in Management & Leadership is a comprehensive qualification providing you with the key management skills to enable you to operate effectively as a middle manager. It allows you to develop a range of competencies from operational management principles and practices to the development of resource control and use.
The main aim of the course is to take a practical approach using plans or methods to achieve specific, short-to-medium aims. The modules seek to provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to develop as a competent manager and improve your overall performance.
Who is this course for?
The Diploma in Management and Leadership is ideal for those aiming to enhance their current managerial position or seeking to obtain a middle management position in the future. The course will also provide a strong headstart to those with an academic business background but without practical managerial experience.

Pre-Requisites
Candidates are expected to have upper-intermediate/advanced English language. A previous management qualification or management experience is desired but not essential.

Core Content
The diploma will be awarded to students who successfully complete all of the following modules:
- Personal development as a manager and leader
- Information based decision-making
- Conducting a management project
- Being a leader
- Financial control
- Marketing planning
- Human resource development
- Managing recruitment and selection
Assessment
Students will be required to complete 9 internal assignments that can take the form of written reports, presentations or case studies.
