General Programme Information

The Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership is a comprehensive qualification providing you with all of the key strategic management skills to enable you to perform effectively as a senior manager, enhancing your ability to focus on the requirements of implementing your organisation’s strategy. Through completing this qualification you will develop a wide range of competencies from successful organisational direction and change through to the effective development, implementation and review of marketing plans.

Pre-Requisites

The following qualifications or experience are the recommended prerequisite for entry onto the Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership: A qualification at degree level or 3 years experience in a management position.

Core Content

The diploma will be awarded to students who successfully complete all of the following modules:

• Personal development as a strategic manager
• Strategic performance management
• Financial management
• Strategic information management
• Conducting a strategic management project
• Organisational direction
• Strategic marketing
• Organisational change

Assessment

Students will be required to complete 9 internal assignments that can take the form of written reports, presentations or case studies.
